Outdoor photo of a crowd gathered in a dusty village street after a storm, with bare, storm-damaged trees behind a blue-and-pink building. A saffron flag hangs on a pole at the right, and a white canopy with red and green trim stands in front of a red-doored shrine-like building. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand near the centre, a man in a white kurta extends an arm, and women in saris, including a woman in a pink sari at right, watch closely. Children and elderly villagers press forward, and a cameraman in red leans from the blue wall at upper right. A blue wall at right carries Tamil lettering.
