Night procession at a temple event. A red tractor with the registration KA 40 pulls an ornate decorated float (ratha) draped in red, orange and multicoloured fabric panels with floral motifs and birds, garlanded with marigold and rose strings. Inside the float a deity murti sits surrounded by flowers. A man in a striped shirt and a man in a dark shirt sit at the tractor wheel. On the left, two women in white and green saris and a woman in a green sari stand watching, and a man in a striped shirt walks nearby. On the right, a bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a sacred thread stands by the float. Trees and dark night sky frame the scene.
