A photo of a devotional program at a Hindu temple altar. Three decorated murti figures of deities stand on a red-draped platform framed by garlands of red and orange flowers, with peacock feathers above. The central deity wears a gold crown and an orange-red sari-like garment with gold trim. A seated man in an orange-saffron robe sits cross-legged with hands joined in namaste in front of a microphone, a brass lamp and vases of white lilies nearby. A woman in a green blouse and red-orange sari sits to the left at a microphone. Partially visible heads of seated devotees appear in the bottom right, and a white statue of a bearded saint in orange cloth sits at far left.

Three deity murtis stand behind, one in red and gold with a staff, others in red-and-green and pink-and-gold saris with flower garlands and gold crowns. In front, a man in orange robes sits cross-legged beside a seated woman in a green blouse and red sari, before a microphone, with fruit, bowls and flowers on the carpet. Two orange-robed figures sit near the altar, a priest in orange and a seated devotee in white at the lower left, and a large white statue of a seated guru with an orange cloth at the far left. Two seated men in saffron-orange robes sit on a red cloth; the man at centre, with a shaved head, holds a lit lamp and offering, while the man at left presses his palms together in prayer. Trays of fruit, mangoes, bananas and flower offerings lie on the floor, and a woman in grey hair and a red garment and a child are visible at the bottom edge. Visible people: four. A possible yet uncertain candidate is the central man in saffron-orange with a rudraksha-style neck garland; his appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2008-10-22Two saffron-robed men sit on a red-draped platform in a temple hall for a puja. The man at far left, wearing an orange shawl and a beaded mala, sits cross-legged at a microphone. The man beside him, in orange robes with a mala and hands folded at his chest, sits before brass offering trays. Behind them stand three painted deity murtis: a central figure in red-orange with a crown and garland holding a bow, a female figure in orange and gold with a crown and floral garlands, and a male figure in orange with a garland. A blue-skinned Krishna murti in pink and gold dress holds a flute on the right. Fruit, bananas, oranges, mangoes, and white lilies lie on the platform, and a whisk and brass vessels sit on the red cloth. Behind the group, a figure with a monkey face and a carved sage figure stand in the background.2008-10-22Indoor temple puja on a raised red-draped stage before a row of white deity murtis in colourful garments and crowns, including a flute-playing Krishna murti on the right, with fresh garlands and flowers. A seated man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits at a microphone on the left, and a second man in orange robes sits centrally on the red cloth with palms pressed together in namaskar. Fruit platters, oil lamps, incense, a brass tray and a vase of white lilies and pink flowers sit in front. Two women in saris are visible at the lower right edge and a few heads at the bottom. The central man has a shaved head and no crown or long hair, so the candidate cues are insufficient and his identity is uncertain.2008-10-22October 22 20082008-10-22October 22 20082008-10-22A temple puja on a raised red-draped stage with a green and white floral garland arch.
