Photograph of ashram life on a covered step by a wooden door. A long-haired young person in orange robes sits on a red-cushioned wooden swing with brass chain fittings, reaching into a large steel bowl of rice held by a woman in an orange shawl over white clothes and glasses. Another orange-robed person sits at left beside a steel bowl and a steel pot, and a red-cushioned seat and potted plant sit at right. The scene appears to show food being served or shared among monastic trainees.
