Indoor photograph of a night ritual in a plain room with pink walls, a window with metal bars, and a framed picture on the wall. A figure in a saffron-orange robe at the left raises a lit torch or flame high. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange clothing with a rudraksha mala sits on a white-covered bed or platform, appearing to be the central figure; this appearance is consistent with a person candidate, though the image is uncertain. Two saffron-robed men sit on the floor in front, with several white-clad devotees behind them. A bright light flares from above, and two cameramen film the scene at right. A glass-topped casket draped with flower garlands and brass puja items sits at the right, with a flower-decorated altar nearby.
