A man seated cross-legged on a raised white metal platform beside a large dark black stone lingam wrapped with a garland of white and purple flowers. He is bare-chested with a rudraksha mala around his neck, white dhoti, and a black dreadlocked head covering. He holds a brass lamp with a flame in one hand and a silver bell in the other, performing a puja. Another person with bare shoulders and an orange cloth is partly visible on the stairs and platform behind him, and a third person's back is visible at the right edge. Overcast pale sky above.

He wears white dhoti trousers, a black rudraksha mala, and white horizontal stripes on his arms and chest, and holds a small brass bowl and a spoon-like vessel as he performs the ritual. Behind him a second attendant with white body markings and a rudraksha mala holds a brass vessel, and an orange-clad person stands on the metal stairs. The scene suggests abhishekam or puja to a Shiva lingam under a pale sky.2016-10-31
