A photograph taken from a low angle against a clear blue sky, with a cluster of colourful balloons in red, pink, purple, white, teal, green and orange rising at the top. Below, a man in a cream-coloured turban and white garland of flowers sits on a silver-decorated procession vehicle, smiling, with a large golden trident-shaped staff rising beside him. Bright sunlight flares at the right edge, and a dark silhouetted figure occupies the left foreground. The scene suggests a festive outdoor procession.

A man in orange robes, a white turban and a garland of white and red flowers stands on a raised float, smiling as he holds a tall golden trident-topped staff and releases a bunch of colourful balloons (pink, white, blue, purple, yellow, green) upward. Above him is a red umbrella with tassels and balloons tied to it. Below, a crowd of spectators in the street looks up at the balloons, and a second umbrella with yellow, green and red panels appears at left. Appearance cues are not distinctive enough to establish a specific identity, so the man is described by role only as a robed figure on the float.2008-12-29December 29 20082008-12-29A smiling man rides on an ornate blue-silver decorated float or chariot, raising one hand in greeting.
