A dimly lit photograph of a stage shrine for Karthikai Deepam. Rows of small clay oil lamps, lit with flames, line the front edge and step up in tiers on both sides of a central seated figure, a deity murti adorned with a garland and a red flower offering. A painted backdrop shows a large banyan-like tree and forest scene. No people are visible in the frame.
