Devotees crowd around a temple shrine at Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple in Los Angeles. Several deity murtis stand under golden arches decorated with marigold and red flower garlands, with a black shivalinga on a stone base at the right. A priest in orange robes stands at the centre near the shrine, and a woman in an orange sari and a man in a white shirt stand close by. Visitors in casual Western clothes and a woman in a yellow sari look toward the altar, and children stand among them. A brass donation box sits in the foreground.
