Outdoor hillside view of a rocky outcrop with scrubby trees and flowering plants in the foreground. A large white rock is draped with a long garland of white jasmine and red flowers, and a decorated umbrella with blue, red and gold panels and fringed tassels stands at right. Two or three people in orange clothing sit at lower left among the rocks and vegetation. Beyond, a tall white gopuram tower rises above a town of low buildings with distant hills under a hazy sky.

In the foreground, a small group of people stands and kneels on red and white striped cloth spread on dry earth among young trees and rocks. One man in orange robes stands at left, another in white dhoti with a yellow shawl kneels at the centre near a bundle of flowers and an orange cloth, and others in white and yellow garments are gathered around. The setting suggests a small outdoor puja or prayer at a hill shrine overlooking the temple town.2008-05-19Outdoor photo on a rocky hilltop above a town, with a large gopuram temple tower in the background and low buildings and palm trees below.
