In the foreground a man in a white shirt with raised arms reaches up toward the figure, with his face partly visible at the right edge. Behind him a second man in a white shirt stands in the dark interior beside gilded kalasha-style finials and a gold lamp stand with a flame-shaped top. The shrine frame is gold-painted with red cloth draped in the background. Two people are visible, both men in white shirts and no one is identifiable as a person.2006-09-23A smiling man with long dark swept-back hair, wearing an orange saffron garment over his shoulders and a forehead marking, stands beside a large gilded deity murti in the foreground. No physical people are visible.2006-10-28A man with long, swept-back dark hair and white vertical tilak marks on his forehead stands in orange saffron robes with a rudraksha mala around his neck, facing a gilded metal deity murti with a wide face, crown and white-and-gold cloth wrapped over its head. Red and gold draped fabric and a golden arch are visible behind. A sacred image is being attended in a temple setting. The man's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, so the figure is labelled a person in this photograph.2006-09-23September 23 20062006-09-23Close-up photograph of a person with long dark hair and a white forehead mark touching a large gleaming gold-coloured deity murti or ceremonial metal figure at lower left, wrapped in white cloth.
