Hundreds of people, mostly in white and pastel clothing with red turbans, stand arranged in a large formation facing the same direction. Seated devotees in orange, yellow and magenta garments line the foreground on colourful mats. Two decorated red-and-gold altar boxes with brass kalasha-like lamps sit in front. A cameraman on a tripod films the scene, and a camera crane arm extends over the crowd. Trees, stacked timber and speakers frame the open site.2017-12-16A long line of people walks along a dirt road beside green trees under a pale sky. Many men wear red turbans and white kurta-pyjama outfits, while women wear saris and salwar kameez in pink, red, teal, yellow and blue. Some carry bags, and an orange-robed figure walks at the left edge. A red-and-white structure stands at the far right. The procession suggests a formal gathering rather than a single event on the image itself.2017-12-16December 16 20172017-12-16A wide outdoor photograph of a large crowd standing and sitting along the edge of a sandy ground covered with a red-orange cloth. Many people wear white garments, while others wear orange, red and pink saris and clothing. Tall trees and a red boundary wall stand behind them under a pale hazy sky. A camera operator is visible at the right edge. The crowd is dense and extends across most of the frame, indicating a mass gathering rather than an individual ceremony.2017-12-16
