Open reddish-brown earth at a construction site beneath a blue sky with cumulus clouds. A rounded green hill rises in the background with scattered trees and palms. A tractor works at right near a fence line. Four people in the foreground walk and stand on the cleared ground: a man in white dhoti and shirt holding a small object, two figures in orange-saffron cloth with one raising an arm, and a bare-chested figure in orange dhoti. Two more people in white bend over, measuring or surveying along a taut white string stretched on wooden stakes. A red umbrella stands at left. The a person candidate is not confidently identifiable from appearance, so the role is given as a figure in saffron cloth.

The front figure in orange robes is shaded by a person holding a pink-orange umbrella. Beside him a man in orange robes and a white outer garment with a rudraksha mala walks alongside another in white. At the right edge an older man in white dhoti and shirt gestures toward a red tractor. Partial trees and a blue sky with cumulus clouds complete the scene.2008-04-06A photograph on bare red-brown earth at a construction site with a forested hill behind it. In the foreground a shaved-headed man in orange cloth stands with his back to the camera, bare-shouldered, wrapped in an orange dhoti and shawl. To the right, another man in orange robes holds a pink umbrella overhead, shading the scene. A cameraman in white clothing films from the left, and a white cord runs across the ground marking the site.2008-04-06April 06 20082008-04-06Outdoor photo of a cleared red-earth site at a hilly, tree-covered landscape under a partly cloudy blue sky. Several men walk away from the camera across the bare soil toward the hill. Two lead figures wear saffron/orange cloth; one of them is shielded by a red-orange umbrella. Others wear white dhoti and shirt-style clothes. Along the left, a man in white stands beside a taut white rope and wooden survey stakes marking plots. A cameraman with a camera is visible on the right edge. The scene suggests site measurement and land preparation.2008-04-06April 06 20082008-04-06A photograph of a bare red-earth construction site with string lines marking out the ground. Several men walk across it in white dhotis and white shirts, and one man in an orange-saffron shawl walks in the foreground with a bare upper body and long dark hair, wearing an orange dhoti. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands at the right edge. Behind them is a partly built bamboo-framed roof structure among green trees under a partly cloudy sky. The orange-clad figure has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing, a probable appearance-based candidate for a person, shown on the ground in a construction context; this is uncertain, so the field is unsure.2008-04-06April 06 20082008-04-06A photograph of an outdoor construction site with bare red-brown earth marked out by white lines and string. A man in a saffron orange robe with long dark hair sits on a light blue plastic chair at the centre, hands resting on the ground, appearing to inspect or mark the land; this figure has distinctive long hair and orange robes, but appearance alone is not conclusive, so the identity is uncertain and he is described by role only as a seated devotee at a site visit. A second man in an orange robe stands behind him holding a red umbrella over him. On the right, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands watching with hands clasped. A small tractor works in the background among trees and a hill, and other people in white clothing stand further back.2008-04-06April 06 20082008-04-06April 06 20082008-04-06April 06 20082008-04-06
