Outdoor Holi celebration at an open ground lined with coconut palms and a grey block wall. Many boys and young men, their clothes and faces smeared with bright pink, purple, orange and green powder, crowd around a water pot suspended from a rope-and-pole frame, one boy holding a green cup and water splashing from the pot. Behind them a larger crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis, plus women in white and saris, watch and stand near a yellow auto-rickshaw. Colourful balloons in red, pink, teal and green hang at the left and right edges. A man in a floral shirt with pink-stained hair stands at right. Some balloons and flags add festive colour.
