Top-down photo of an offering spread on a reddish-brown wooden table: bowls of sweets and savouries, orange and yellow pulses, bananas, round green fruits, pomegranate-red fruit, a steel plate of dark brown bananas, and red flowers and white garlands near a brass vessel. Only a person's white-trousered legs are visible at the left edge, so one person is partly in frame. Food offerings suggest a puja or annadan setting, but no clear figure is shown. Scattered petals lie on the wood.2006-10-31October 31 20062006-10-31October 28 20062006-10-28October 28 20062006-10-28A photograph of a festival offering laid out on a wooden floor before a golden deity murti, with the figure's golden feet visible at the top. Dozens of small steel bowls hold colourful prepared foods, sweets, grains and sauces in neat rows. A large steel platter of red pomegranates sits in front, beside a platter of green betel-style leaves, pink flowers and small paper slips. Yellow citrus fruits and bananas fill other trays, and an orange cloth and flower garlands are visible at the top. Only a partial white-clad lower leg and a cloth edge appear at the left edge, so no full person is shown.2006-10-28A photograph of a large spread of offerings on a red-covered table. Plates and steel trays hold fruits including apples, oranges, bananas, limes and grapes, alongside sweets, nuts, sugar cubes, packaged snacks, coconut-filled confections and wrapped gift packets. Colourful paper rosettes and fringed ornaments decorate the trays. Two people in white clothing stand at the left, one in white with an orange cloth at the top right edge, and a partial figure in orange clothing is visible at the lower right. The setting looks like a temple or ashram offering for a devotional event.2008-07-17October 28 20062006-10-28
