A photograph of villagers boarding a white and blue Mahindra Tourister minibus on a dirt road under a clear sky with trees and a low building behind. About a dozen people stand in a loose line near the open door; several women wear colourful saris and an older man in a white shirt and dhoti waits at the front. A blue signboard with Tamil lettering stands beside the road.

A roadside gathering beside a blue and white public bus with its destination board showing Tamil script, on a tree-lined road. Many devotees in white dhotis and kurtas and women in white and green saris stand close together, some holding white flags on poles. A saffron flag stands at left beside a black speaker and a wooden barrier, with a crowd moving along the road beyond. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance; the figures are visible only as devotees and bystanders in a procession-like setting.

A photograph of elderly villagers queuing on a dirt road beside a white and blue bus with a WELCOME sign above its open front door. A line of older men and women in white shirts, dhotis, saris and a green blouse waits to board. A small signboard with Tamil script stands behind them, with utility poles and green trees in the background. The scene suggests transport for a community outreach day.

A blue and white public bus parked at dusk with its side windows open, carrying passengers in orange robes seated inside. Several devotees in saffron-orange clothing sit in the windows and aisle seats, while a man in white clothing sits near the front. On the right, a figure in orange garb with a flower garland steps toward the open front door. Kannada-language route text is painted on the lower side panel, and a city bus operator's phone number appears beside it. The bus appears to be transporting ashram residents on a trip.

A crowded night street scene at a temple procession in Tamil Nadu. In the foreground a dense crowd of devotees presses together, many women in saris and salwar kameez, men in white shirts and dhotis, and children among them; an elderly man in white with folded hands is prominent at lower left. Behind them a red and white bus with a destination board reading Sri Iyyanar Swami stands lit by headlights, with more buses and vehicles and street lights beyond. Many people are visible, roughly twenty-five or more, though only the nearest figures are clear.

A photograph of a wide paved highway under a hazy pale sky, with a divided median of young saplings on the left. Palm trees and green fields line the left side, and a few utility poles and power lines cross overhead. On the road, a white minibus with a small red flag on its roof travels ahead of a dark blue bus, and a white truck with people standing near its rear follows on the right lane. No people are clearly visible in the foreground; the vehicles and a roadside figure on the right form the main activity. The timestamp overlay in the lower right reads 12.04.2008 12:38.

A photograph of a white minibus labelled PRASSANNA with a phone number on its windscreen, parked on a dirt shoulder beside a road lined with green trees. Luggage and white flags are tied to the roof rack. A man in a white shirt and blue trousers, barefoot, leans into the open side door with one arm raised. A white banner with Tamil and English text stands at the front of the bus.

A parked orange and black bus on a dusty unpaved lot, photographed from the rear three-quarter angle. Its side is painted with a sunset scene: a glowing sun above a dark silhouetted mountain ridge against orange and yellow sky. Curtained windows and a yellow roof cover are visible. Behind it stands a red building with a blue-grey roof and small finials, and stacked grey concrete blocks sit at right. No people are visible.
