A woman in the foreground in a blue-and-white sari with a red sash eats from a leaf plate, while small paper cups sit before the rows. At the far end, an ornate golden throne stands beside a table draped in orange cloth, and a figure in orange robes stands near it holding a vessel. Other people in white stand near the back, and orange and red cloths hang from the left wall. Several other people are shown in the scene, some partly hidden by others.2013-07-21 +1 copiesJuly 21 20132013-07-21A large hall with a polished floor where many seated people sit in rows on mats during a puja. Most men wear white dhotis and white shirts or shawls with red-bordered cloth, and many wear rudraksha malas. Several shaved-headed men have white and orange sandalwood marks on their foreheads. Brass plates and small offering dishes with flowers and fruit sit in front of them. Women in white and pastel saris and salwar kameez sit toward the left and back, and a few children are visible at the right edge. No single figure clearly presents the appearance cues needed to identify a person, and the centre of the room shows no clear seated leader.2010-09-18November 21 20112011-11-21July 07 20092009-07-07
