A large black stone Shivalinga stands in the middle of a water tank while white-clad devotees pour water over it and drape garlands of marigold and flower strings. Water sprays upward from fountain jets on both sides. Several white-robed men stand on the platform and in the water around the linga. Behind the tank, a tiered stepped embankment with red and white stripes is packed with seated devotees in white clothes, and green trees and a red-roofed structure appear beyond. This appears to be an abhishekam ritual at an outdoor tank.
