Outdoor scene on a dirt ground covered with scattered spent firecracker paper, red and white debris, and a few cardboard boxes. Several men walk away from the camera in white kurta and dhoti; one in the centre-left wears a saffron/orange wrap and orange dhoti, and one at right wears a yellow shawl over white clothes. Other people in white and orange stand along the back, and onlookers, including children, watch from the left beside a white building with a red-roofed shelter. Smoke is visible near the centre, consistent with crackers being set off during a Diwali celebration.
