Night outdoor gathering of a large crowd of devotees seated on red plastic chairs and on sand, many with eyes closed in meditation. Women wear saris in yellow, orange, green and maroon, and white salwar outfits; one woman in a pale pink shawl sits in front, and several men in white shirts sit among them. Strings of triangular festival flags hang above, lit by floodlights. A large banner portrait of a man with white hair and a white beard stands at left, and a tall red and gold figure. The page indicates this is a Kanchipuram ashram inauguration event, but no clear appearance-based cue for a person is visible in the image.
