Seven people stand in a row before a doorway draped with marigold garlands. At the centre, a tall figure with long white hair and a long white beard wears a bright orange robe with a gold-trimmed border and folded hands; he may be a person by appearance, though the cues are not conclusive. Beside him on the left, a man in a saffron-orange dhoti with a rudraksha mala and a gold-and-red pendant stands with clasped hands. To their right are women in red and orange sarees with beaded necklaces, and younger women in white and cream sarees with gold borders and rudraksha malas. Men in white dhotis with rudraksha malas stand at the far left. Walls hold framed pictures, a chalk notice board and a bulletin board.2024-02-13A group photo in a modern living room with a large wall-mounted screen and patterned white wall panels. Six people stand in a line. On the left, two men wear white dhotis with gold borders and rudraksha malas, one with white sacred markings on his arms. The third person in the centre wears an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha mala and a pink-wrapped bouquet. A man in a white kurta and white trousers in the centre holds up a gold-coloured plaque or book presented to him. Two women on the right wear white saris with gold borders and rudraksha malas, and one of them holds the plaque. A gold ornate lamp stand and a small deity murti sit on a table at right, and a person in white is partly visible at far left. No one is identified by name in the image.2024-02-18Indoor photo of a devotional gathering in a small room with peach-coloured walls. A bearded elderly sadhu in saffron-orange robes and a red head cloth sits on a carved wooden chair at the centre. Around him, people in masks stand and kneel with hands folded. A standing man bare-chested in a yellow-and-white dhoti holds a folded yellow cloth aloft, while a woman in a white sari with gold border and garlands stands nearby. Men in white kurta and dhoti stand to the right, and women with long braids and gold jewellery face the seated figure. Behind the chair hang a framed painting of a saint holding a staff, a framed deity murti garlanded with flowers, and a red curtain. Above the rear right wall is a small air conditioner.2022-05-30May 30 20222022-05-30Indoor photo in a living room with white walls and a glass-topped coffee table. Seven people stand in a group. Five women on the left wear white or cream saris and rudraksha malas; one wears a gold-bordered sari. A woman in a magenta sari with a gold border stands centre-left, and a woman in a magenta sari and pink shawl holds a gold-covered book. A man in an orange dhoti, shawl and rudraksha malas stands right, receiving the book, with a man in a white shirt beside him. A framed deity painting hangs on the wall, with a small shelf of murtis and a blue cabinet at left. The orange-clad man is a person candidate by appearance: orange clothing and multiple rudraksha malas, with a gold necklace visible. He is standing and receiving a gift, not seated on a throne.2024-02-08February 24 20242024-02-24
