A bearded man in a rust-orange turban with a jewelled ornament and a crescent-shaped pendant sits on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet seat and red cushions. He wears a pink lotus garland, heavy gold necklaces and gold armlets, and holds a silver staff with a carved finial in his raised right hand. A golden lion figure stands at the left side of the throne, and red and white flower garlands hang behind. In front, a gold-rimmed tray is decorated with yellow marigold garlands, red flowers and a small offering of fruit. Behind the throne, a deity murti is partly visible. The man is described as Swamiji (probable), based on the turban, saffron-toned clothing, gold ornaments and staff.
