A crowded street procession in a narrow Indian market lane, packed with a dense mass of people beneath a sea of colourful umbrellas in red, yellow, green and blue. Red flags on poles rise above the crowd. A decorated vehicle with a white-and-maroon body carries a large framed portrait of a figure in orange-and-red headwear and saffron robes, labelled Paramahamsa Nithyananda. Shops line both sides, with a puja bhandar sign and a hanging banner showing a bearded figure in an orange turban. A police officer in khaki uniform walks at the lower right. The scene is a city procession with many people visible, most of whom are partly hidden by umbrellas and vehicles.
