A photo of a construction site at the Bidadi ashram: a deep excavated trench in reddish-brown earth runs down the centre of the frame. Piles of grey crushed stone and cut granite blocks lie along the sides, with green leaves hanging in the upper left corner. No people are visible.A photograph of an excavated construction trench on a dry, earthen site. A long concrete foundation beam or plinth runs down the centre of the trench, with exposed rebar cages and steel reinforcement in the foreground pit. Piles of cut grey stone slabs and loose rubble lie on the ground beside the trench, and a leafy branch hangs in the upper left. A taut string line runs along the trench to guide alignment. Red-brown excavated soil piles line both sides, with scattered rocks and stones. A worker in a green top and checked lungi is partly visible at the right edge, crouched near the trench. On the left, a white-grey tomb-like structure with a dark doorway stands beside older stone markers and a white memorial. Green trees, white concrete pillars and a brick wall sit behind, under a bright sky with a utility pole.2021-02-24A construction site on red-brown earth with workers laying grey concrete blocks in a trench for a building foundation. A stone retaining wall and palm trees appear at the right.2009-10-15A construction site photo of a foundation trench being prepared for concrete. A worker in a white shirt, light trousers and a red cap stands on a wooden formwork frame that encloses vertical steel reinforcement rods rising from the excavated ground. Muddy water pools at the base of the trench, red-brown earth banks surround the pit, and a blue tarpaulin and wooden fencing with a few distant workers stand behind. A metal brace pole leans against the formwork.
