A photograph of a priest performing an aarti with a flaming lamp during an evening ritual. He wears a cream-coloured turban and a white dhoti or shawl, with rudraksha beads and red-and-white bracelets on his wrists, and holds a lit oil lamp over a deity murti decorated with yellow marigold garlands and red rose garlands. Smoke and haze surround the scene against a dark background, and a silver offering vessel sits in the lower foreground. The visible person is a priest officiating the ritual, not an identified individual.

A photograph of a priest in white kurta with an orange and maroon shawl and a white turban, holding brass lamps toward a flame burning on a clay altar. Pink flowers and green leaves sit near the fire, a deity murti is partly visible at left, and a second man in a grey shirt stands in the background beside stacked speakers and a grey cloth backdrop. The scene appears to be a fire ritual or puja in an outdoor setting.

A priest in white dhoti with a red turban-like cloth and a rudraksha-style garland bends over a homa fire, pouring offerings into flames rising from a fire pit. Marigold and white flower garlands and fruit sit on a tray before the fire. Behind, a shrine holds deity murtis draped in flower garlands, lit by string lights and a candle. A second person in orange robes stands at left, and another figure is partly visible at right. The scene is a homa or yagna ritual.

A photograph of a priest in white ritual dress with a white turban edged in gold, long dark hair and a white-and-orange flower garland, holding a metal fire vessel with a bright flame toward a dark shrine. Behind him is a large bronze Nataraja murti in dance pose, framed by a circular arch decorated with yellow and white flower garlands and multicoloured fabric. Brass oil lamps stand on either side and a small white flower offering sits on the altar. The image shows a fire-offering ritual being performed before the deity murti.

A photograph inside a temple shrine at night. In the foreground, a priest with a red head cloth and bare torso wears a white dhoti with an orange-and-blue border and a rudraksha-style necklace; he holds a lit multi-wick camphor aarti lamp over a floral offering. A second priest in white dhoti bends beside him over a tray of flowers, fruit and red powder. Behind them, a deity murti stands in a gilded arch decorated with garlands, with lamps and brass stands around it. Coloured fairy lights hang across the upper walls. At left, several people in orange-red garments stand with hands folded, and a figure in white rests in the frame; the aarti is a ritual lamp offering.

A homa is being performed under a thatched pavilion with a sunken fire pit decorated with pink lotus flowers, yellow marigolds and sheaves of golden grain beside a brass kalasha. A person in white ritual clothing with a white turban and orange-red shawl feeds a burning offering into the flames with bare hands. Several devotees in white dhotis and shirts stand in the background with folded hands, some with mala beads, and banners hang above. A gold-toned bowl sits at the pit edge.
