Outdoor photo of a large crowd on a paved stone courtyard at a Shivasthamba Yoga mallakhamba event. Several shirtless men in orange and red lower garments climb or grip tall wooden poles, while a gilded ornate throne-like structure with red carpeting stands at left. Many people in saffron-orange robes, white dhotis and dark clothing gather in dense clusters, some with hands folded in prayer. Blue mats and a pale green-grey stage backdrop frame the area, with cars and a red hatchback visible beyond the wall.
