Night photograph of a muddy ground where several people in saffron-orange clothing are engaged in vigorous activity, some bent forward and pulling or pushing at something dark on the mud. Mud-splashed legs and feet are prominent. On the right, a figure in white clothing with a dark wrap and a gold-coloured belt stands with long dark hair, facing the action, lit by a bright lamp. Behind them, a row of trees, a decorated structure with lights, and a crowd of onlookers appear in the background. The scene appears to be a festival contest or procession activity in the dark.
