Each seated person has a green leaf plate in front with fruit, flowers and offerings, and small brass oil lamps and vessels sit beside them. Tall bamboo poles with orange flags stand between the rows. Standing figures in white clothes are visible further back near a counter and a thatched hut, and a figure in white with an orange shawl stands at the right edge. This appears to be a puja with offerings in progress.2006-08-23October 12 20062006-10-12December 25 20082008-12-25A photograph of a row of seated women and young women eating a meal from banana leaves on a concrete floor under an open thatched pavilion. Most wear white saris with gold borders and orange shawls or stoles, some with orange-and-white attire. Each has a banana leaf with rice, vegetables, papad and sweets, with small brass pots, steel cups and a brass vessel beside them. Several are eating with their right hands; one at left touches rice on her leaf. Bamboo poles stand among them and other people in white stand in the background. No a person candidate is visible.2006-10-12October 12 20062006-10-12
