A photograph of devotees at an outdoor ritual beside a dry-stone wall of large grey rocks and stone steps. In the foreground a man in orange robes with long swept-back hair stands with head bowed and hands at his sides, and no crown, turban, rudraksha mala or ceremonial gold necklace is visible. Behind him, a woman in a white sari with orange border and orange shawl stands with hands folded. A young woman in white clothes with a rudraksha mala stands with palms joined, and a young man in orange robes with palms pressed together stands at right. Two men in white dhotis stand on the steps at upper left, and a black bag sits on the ground at the base of the wall. Their posture suggests prayer during a homa or tharpanam offering, though no fire is visible.2009-07-01July 01 20092009-07-01January 08 20102010-01-08July 11 20122012-07-11July 01 20092009-07-01December 29 20102010-12-29Outdoor ritual at a water tank beside a stone wall.
