A row of devotees sits cross-legged on a red-and-black striped mat on a concrete floor, facing a line of banana-leaf plates set with rice, pappadam-like wafers and small steel cups. The seated people wear white garments with orange-saffron shawls draped over their shoulders. Most have hands pressed together in anjali mudra with eyes closed. A yellow line runs along the floor, and more people sit in the background beneath a canopy with blue plastic chairs on a table. Several people appear to be women and men in matching white and orange attire.

Photo of a row of women seated cross-legged on a concrete floor under a woven bamboo mat wall, facing forward. Most wear white garments with orange-saffron shawls draped over their shoulders; several have hands pressed together in prayer or folded in their laps. Before them on banana leaf plates are servings of white rice, vegetable curries and fried items, with small steel tumblers beside each plate, and brass vessels near the row. Others are seated further along the line. The setting appears to be a ceremonial meal or puja offering. A partial banner with a figure is visible at the upper right.

Most wear white cotton saris with orange-red shawls, while some on the right wear yellow-and-white garments. In front of them are banana leaves holding small steel tumblers, plates of food and sweets, and a lamp. At the far left, a framed portrait shows a woman in orange garments. Plain white walls, large windows and a ceiling fan complete the scene.

Many people wear orange saffron robes, while others in white dhotis and cream saris with yellow borders sit in rows facing a central area. On the right, a seated man in white clothes and a shaved head sits behind an orange cloth and a plantain leaf of food, with his hands folded in namaskar. A woman in a cream sari with a dark border also sits with palms pressed together in the foreground. Steel vessels, banana leaves with food, and a brass lamp stand are arranged on the floors and cloth mats. A small stage with a microphone stand sits at the right edge, and a ceiling-hung speaker is visible.
