The bottom panel shows a wider hall with rows of students in red, maroon and blue uniforms seated on the floor facing a central aisle, with a framed portrait of a bearded figure in an orange robe on an easel-like stand at the far end. Printed text reads SRV Matriculation School, Rasipuram. Most wear white shirts with navy blue pinafore vests or green and white uniforms; several girls have hair in braids with flowers, and some hold books, notebooks and striped cloth bags. Two-storey cream school buildings with brown wooden doors flank the courtyard, and a low boundary wall with a gate stands at the back. Hundreds of students fill the frame, with more standing in the distance near the wall.2004-08-26
