A photograph of a fire ritual with a young man in saffron-orange robes seated at the lower left, leaning forward over a smoking fire pit and holding a small object over the flames. Smoke fills the center and right of the frame. Behind him, several people in white dhotis and shirts stand and watch, including one figure in a blue turban near the middle. The setting appears to be a temple interior with white walls and a crowd of onlookers, consistent with a homa or yagna offering.
