Outdoor temple ritual under a white canopy tent at a Navaratri Durga event. Several saffron-robed sannyasi with topknots and rudraksha malas stand behind him holding offering plates of yellow and orange flowers, and a white-clad devotee stands among them. To the right, a large golden Ganesha murti adorned with red and yellow garlands sits beside a Durga murti with a golden crown and flower garlands. Brass oil lamps burn in front of a silver puja vessel, and flower petals are scattered on the ground.

A bare-chested man with long dark hair, a flower garland and a rudraksha-style mala stands at left with hands joined in namaskar. Behind him, several young people in red and orange garments hold brass plates of yellow flowers. Smoke and scattered petals fill the air, and a brass lamp with a flame stands at right beside a large Ganesha murti decorated with flowers and gold ornaments. Above, a banner shows a framed portrait of a man in orange with a garland and a world map, labelled with Tamil and English text. Several white-clad devotees stand in the background beneath palm trees and a red building.2017-09-27September 27 20172017-09-27A photograph of a night ritual under a corrugated metal roof. A man in an orange turban, orange dhoti and bare chest stands centre, holding a small oil lamp and a ladle-like vessel near women seated on a raised platform. Several women in red and maroon saris with garlands sit in a row with folded hands, one in a red sari with a striped blouse at right. Seated and standing men in white and orange dhotis, some with hands in anjali, line the left side on the floor. Marigold petals are scattered on the ground. Behind them hangs a world map board, and at right a deity murti stands under a trident. A ceremonial brass item and a plate of white cloth sit in the foreground. Whether the central turbaned man is a candidate for a person cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the role is described as a priest.2016-10-10September 27 20172017-09-27A night ritual scene at an open-sided shelter beneath a corrugated roof. A long-haired man with a flowing dark mane and a beaded rudraksha mala, wearing a maroon-red robe and a flower garland of white, orange and multicoloured blooms, extends his right arm toward a large blue-skinned deity murti of Kali, with a tongue out, a garland of yellow and magenta marigolds, a skull-like necklace and a raised sword. Behind him stand other men in orange and saffron cloths, one holding a brass offering plate and one with a microphone, while smoke rises from a brass incense stand. A banana plant and a world map poster with the printed text 'Global Nithyananda Sangha' hang behind them. Sequins-like string lights decorate the upper area. Swamiji (probable): the long-haired man in the maroon robe and garland matches the presentation cues in the frame.2017-10-19August 25 20172017-08-25A night ritual gathering under a corrugated roof strung with marigold and mango-leaf decorations.
