Musicians perform on the paved floor: a man in white dhoti and shirt plays a long wooden pipe (nadaswaram-style), another in white plays a double-headed drum, and several young men in saffron-orange dhotis and turbans play large drums and long brass horns (kompu/ceremonial trumpets). A bare-chested drummer in red-and-saffron cloth stands near the steps. The scene resembles a traditional welcome procession for an arriving vehicle. A visible figure in orange near the vehicle may be a sannyasi but no clear identifying cues are present. Trees and a low wall frame the background.2013-08-04A photograph of a dark Ford SUV with a steel front guard parked outside a rural building with a thatched shed. A man in an orange polo shirt stands at left facing the vehicle. A smiling man in a white shirt and light trousers stands beside a golden trident placed on the bonnet area, while another man in an orange shirt with palms pressed together greets him. At right, a young drummer in a pink shirt plays a drum and another drum lies on the ground. Scattered petals cover the road.2017-09-06 +1 copies
