Rows of young boys and adult monks in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls sit cross-legged on the floor of a temple hall, performing a group pada puja. Many wear white forehead bands, rudraksha malas and sacred threads. Brass thalis, small oil lamps, kalasha-style vessels, flower offerings and pink-lidded containers are arranged on silver trays in front of them, and several hold lit oil lamps. Older monks and assistants sit further back among folding chairs near the walls, with a few in white clothing. No single person is identified as a person; the scene shows devotees and ashram students performing ritual worship.
