Night photo at a temple pool. A large black stone Shiva lingam stands on a raised base in the water, wrapped with a yellow-and-gold garland, with a water spray behind it. Several white-clad people stand in the water and along the left edge near the lingam, and a small group of white-clad figures is visible on the far side. A red-and-white striped stone step leads down into the pool, with red steps on the right and a blue hose lying across them. Dark sky above and a green light glows in the background.

A tall black Shiva lingam stands in the water at right, with a fountain spraying behind it. Devotees in white and light clothing line the steps and wade into the water near the lingam, many in white dhotis and saris, while others stand on the stone steps at left. Strings of orange and white lights hang along the tank wall, and oil lamps reflect on the water. The scene suggests a night ritual bathing or puja at the tank during a festival.2009-01-02December 26 20132013-12-26
