Photograph of a dense street crowd around a white vehicle at a festive event. A central figure wearing an orange-saffron turban and orange robe, with long dark hair and rudraksha-style beads, is being pressed upon; a hand holds up an orange cloth. Beside them a man wears an ornate pink-and-gold crown with jewelled circular backdrop and painted face with moustache, resembling a costumed deity figure. Women in pink, magenta and yellow saris and older women in white stand among the crowd, with a banana bunch and a banner with Tamil text in the background. The central figure's appearance has several cues associated with the page's subject, so a person is noted here as an appearance-based candidate, with the crowd as devotees.
