Outdoor flag-hoisting ceremony beneath palm and banana trees. A figure in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with an orange turban and white flower garland raises one arm toward a tall white pole flying a small orange flag. Beside a framed portrait garlanded with flowers, a white-clad man stands at the front of a crowd. Behind them, spectators in white dhotis and shirts raise their hands and clap, while a red and green canopy shelters the area. A plate of flowers and offerings sits on a white cloth near a low brick platform, and rows of small white and blue pennants hang across the trees.
