Outdoor street scene during a welcome. A person in a flowing saffron-orange robe with long dark hair stands with palms pressed together in greeting, face lowered, while confetti in pink, green, yellow and purple falls around them. Men in white dhotis and shirts crowd close; one at left, beside a silver car, holds his hands near the vehicle, and a man in a checked shirt and another in a turquoise shirt watch from the right. A red-and-white pole and a striped canopy frame appear at upper right, with trees and a building behind.

A woman in an orange sari with a long white and multicoloured garland stands with hands folded in namaskar. Around her, a man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl bends forward, and a young man in orange robes kneels at the car door. Other devotees in white and saffron clothing and a woman in a yellow and pink sari stand nearby, several with hands joined, and a child sits on the ground in pink. Some hold small offerings and flowers. In the centre, a figure in a long saffron-orange robe and a matching orange turban, with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala, walks with palms pressed together in greeting. Around them, men in white shirts and white dhotis greet with folded hands and bowed heads; one man wears a yellow rosette. Palm trees and low white buildings line the road behind them. The figure has distinctive saffron clothing, long hair, and a mala, so the appearance-based candidate is a person, walking and greeting visitors on the road.2007-08-17
