A large black Shivalinga stands in an outdoor ceremonial setting, draped with a multicoloured garland of red, yellow, green and purple flowers. A man with long dark hair, a red-and-gold garland, a rudraksha-style mala and ornate gold necklaces pours liquid over the linga from a vessel. Two assistant priests with shaved heads and white forehead markings, one in an orange shawl, stand beside him. Behind them, a banner of yellow, red and blue draping lines a railing, and seated devotees in white clothes fill the stepped seating. Hanging flower strings and banana plants decorate the stage, and a white ceremonial umbrella is visible at the lower left. This appears to be an abhishekam.
