A photograph of a large seated audience inside a hall at a Living Enlightenment initiation convention in Kancheepuram. Rows of blue plastic chairs fill the room, and hundreds of people in white shirts and dhotis, saris in pink, green, red and lavender, and salwar kameez sit with eyes closed or hands folded in meditation. Some hold their hands in namaste near the front. A stage with speakers and lighting rigs is visible at the back, and a purple logo graphic appears in the upper right corner. No individual candidate for the swami is clearly identifiable in the crowd.
