Night procession photographed from above along a lit street. At the centre, a decorated float carries a seated figure framed by a large arch of white, yellow, green and purple flower garlands and illuminated lights. Below, a vehicle and many people in front, some wearing white and orange clothing, walk among red flags and numerous colourful umbrellas in pink, purple, yellow and blue. A second lit float appears at the upper right. The figure on the float is too small and distant to confirm identity, so no candidate is marked. Overhead lamps and string lights brighten the trees around the route.

The platform is framed by an arched halo of flower garlands in purple, white, yellow and green, lit by strings of bulbs, and a deity murti seated under it is adorned with flower garlands and gold ornaments. Numerous devotees walk on both sides carrying red and orange flags, and many colourful umbrellas shelter the crowd, with more people in the background under the trees. A second decorated float follows behind. The lighting comes from bulbs, lamps and a small vehicle headlight.2016-12-09Night procession photographed from above. A large illuminated float carries a deity murti seated on a golden throne beneath a radiant arch of garlands in purple, green, white and red with a dense halo of flowers. Lights and small bulbs decorate the float and trees. Ahead, devotees carry tall red and pink flags and colourful umbrellas, with a tractor-drawn ratha moving along the road. Many people line the procession in saris and dhotis. A man seated on the float near the front wears a white kurta and a long-sleeved garment, but no clear appearance cues identify him, so he is described only by role.
