A living room during a home visit ritual. A figure in a rust-red and gold-bordered dhoti, bare-chested with rudraksha malas, arm bands and a long swept-back hairstyle, stands at right with palms raised toward the group, apparently a person candidate. Nearby, a woman in an orange salwar kameez holds a red apple-like fruit, and a man in white kurta wears a white and orange garland. A woman in a blue patterned kurta and red leggings stands at left beside a man in white with a flower garland. Several others in white stand behind, and a seated person in orange garlanded clothing sits at lower right near a brass tray with flower offerings, consistent with a padapuja at a devotee's home. Framed pictures and a wall-mounted shelf appear behind them.
