Photograph of a long stone colonnade inside a South Indian temple, with carved pillars and brackets along both sides and a dark ornate ceiling above. Several dozen small groups of devotees walk down the central aisle toward a distant lit doorway; a few are in white and cream clothing, with a woman in a sari near the centre and one lit oil lamp glowing on the walkway. No clearly identifiable central figure is visible.

A close-up of a carved stone pillar bracket stands at right, with a folded green-and-yellow cloth draped over a pillar base and a small bright object at the bottom. No people are visible; the scene shows architectural detail and aged carved stone in shadowy hall.
