A photograph of a body lying on a steel table draped in white cloth and covered with long garlands of marigolds, purple flowers, white jasmine and green leaves. A man with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron robe and a beaded mala, sits at the left edge, appearing to be a person (appearance-based, uncertain). Several women sit behind the table against a peach-coloured wall, some in white saris and one in an orange shawl. A pedestal fan, a radio and a small framed picture sit on a side counter at right. The scene suggests a funeral vigil in a small room.
