Outdoor scene of a Pancha Tapas practice on dry, bare ground under a hazy sky. Roughly a dozen people in white clothes with white head cloths sit on low stone or brick platforms within circular patches of grey ash, several with faces covered by white cloth. Smoke rises from fire pits and burned logs around them, with stacked firewood at the left and blue plastic drums and a red bucket nearby. In the left background a woman in an orange sari stands near a tree, and a few more white-clad figures are visible further back among trees. Tall trees and a white boundary wall frame the field.
