Five flames rise from the lamp as he holds it over a bed of red flower petals and green leaves. Behind him a large gilded deity murti with ornate carved detailing and garlands stands in a dim hall lit by red lights. Smoke drifts upward from the lamp. The scene appears to be an evening puja. The man's appearance is not clearly identifiable from this angle, so the role is given as priest performing aarti.2018-03-02Close photo of a hand holding a brass aarti tray with several burning oil lamps and pink flower petals.
