A group of about thirty saffron-robed sannyasis and devotees sit and stand on a raised stage before a deep maroon curtain, flanked by tall yellow-and-blue patterned pillars with elephant motifs. A central figure sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne beneath a small canopy, dressed in orange with long dark hair, and appears to be a probable Swamiji by swept-back hair and orange ceremonial robes, seated as the presiding leader. Around him, monks hold long wooden staffs topped with small orange flags, and a few women in orange saris sit in the front rows. A brass kalasha-style vessel and a plate of offerings sit on the stage steps, with flower petals scattered on the stairs.
