Photograph of an annadan meal service in a yellow-walled hall with an ornate yellow arched alcove behind. On the left, servers in white head caps and white aprons stand behind a long steel buffet counter with food trays under a plastic sneeze guard, one wearing an orange-and-white head cloth and a beaded necklace. A queue of people waits on a green carpet along the right: women in saris and salwar in blue, pink and purple, men in shirts, and several children, some holding steel plates. Boys in orange and green shirts crowd the counter in front, reaching for food on plates.
