A seated group of shaved-headed men, shirtless and wearing ochre or saffron dhoti-style cloths with orange shawls, perform a ritual on red mats in a hall. Several hold small brass oil lamps (aarti-style) and bells; a plate with flower petals, a kalasha-like brass vessel and small brass lamps sits on a cloth in front. Nearby men wear white dhotis, rudraksha malas and sacred-ash markings on their arms and foreheads. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance cues, so no candidate is asserted.
